The story focuses on several high school boys who discover that they inherited latent genetic traits - among other things, wings that sprout out of their backs. They soon find themselves caught in a millennia-old war, with each representing one of several different factions. Dōri Sakurada (The Prince of Tennis musical's Ryōma) and Tochihara play the two main leads, Kaname and Naoya
