This film is based on the 1969 book of the same title which was written as a hoax by a group of Newsday magazine writers. it is the story of Gillian and William Blake, who are radio hosts and film buffs who seem to have a happy marriage, but William is having an affair with their assistant. When Gillian hears the two having sex one afternoon, she decides to experiment herself by trying partner swapping.
