Initial D: This is the first episode in Initial D: Second Stage. Some time has passed since Takumi's victory over Ryosuke Takahashi, of the "Red Suns" and now there's another team that is making their move. A team of "Lancer Evos" known as "Emperor" has arrived with the goal to beat every team in the Gunma area. The leader of the team Kyouichi Sudou goes to challenge Ryosuke for a rematch when he learns of his shocking defeat to Akina's "Eight-Six". Later that night the no.2 Lancer Evo, Seiji Iwaki challenges Takeshi of the "Night Kids" to a battle.
