Hell Girl: After her brother's death, Hotaru sends Takuma to Hell, following him so that he wont be alone. As Ai ferries Takuma to Hell, Takuma requests to take him back. Returning to the mortal world, Ai has no memory of her being the Hell Girl. Kikuri reveals herself using a host body for the Lord Of Hell and decides to punish Ai for not being obligated to her duty. Takume then finds Hotaru's washed up body in the lake, lost his patience and burns down his house. The man who sent Hotaru's brother to hell beats Ai so that he wont go to Hell. The rest of the mob who ganged on Takuma joined in. Ai's assistance can't prevent her death, but receives a smile from Ai. Takuma tells the mob to stop but Ai dies, holding his hand saying "It's over." and her body turns into sakura petals then floats away. The Lord Of Hell releases her parents' soul. All charges against Takuma have been dropped. His father had woken up and Hotaru is safe and treated in the hospital. In the end, a young girl is shown receiving a text message from Hell Girl(who is probably Kikuri) saying that her request has been accepted.
