Passions: Ethan explains to Father Lonigan that Theresa is suffering from sour grapes, and that Gwen is the woman that he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with. Father Lonigan realises Ethan is telling the truth, and agrees to perform the wedding. Ethan tells Theresa that her juvenile behavior is exactly why he knows he loves Gwen more and wants to be with her. Theresa vows to destroy Ethan and Gwen's happiness no matter what she has to do.
