Adam-12: Malloy and Reed respond to a racist gas station owner who is frustrated after being robbed yet again and unwisely tells his story to a local television station. Later, they search for an extortive hitchhiker after pulling over one of her embarrassed victims, deal with a wino who wants them to investigate a pink elephant he just saw, and get into a shootout with the disguised robbery suspect in a junk yard.
