Murder in Mind: Children's author Hat Vezey is pursued by obsessive stalker Stephen Kite,who,having engineered a meeting,puts a video camera in her flat to observe her and follows her everywhere,declaring he loves her. Hat's background of instability means a prejudiced policeman will not help and then she meets Grace,whose daughter killed herself because Kite stalked her. Hat decides to kill him and arranges a date in a lonely spot in the country.
