Max Fleischer's Superman: Superman made his animated debut in this series of seventeen classic Technicolor short films produced by Fleischer Studios and its successor Famous Studios on 26 September 1941 originally titled "Max Fleischer's Superman". This series of shorts has been re-released several times in the last few decades under other titles such as "Superman: The Max Fleischer Animated Shorts", "Superman: The Max Fleischer Cartoon Collection" and "Superman (1941)".
